In 1928, following the
amalgamation of the Bank of Liverpool and Martins with the Lancashire and
Yorkshire Bank, Blackpool is awash (pun intended) with Branches of the newly
created Martins Bank. The inevitable re-shuffle which
follows such a large amalgamation sees some consolidation, and 88/91 Lytham
Street is soon lost to history. We
have no staff images to bring you for this particular Branch, but as usual,
the available details and history are shown below… |
